Childrens Podiatry
It is not normal for children to experience foot and lower limb pain. If a child has pain for more than a week, they should be seen by a podiatrist. Common signs and symptoms are often subtle and over looked.
These include:
- Tripping and falling
- Unwillingness to participate in sports which they normally would
- Complaining of pain.
- Not wanting to show their feet of legs
Common problems in Children:
- In-toeing walking (Pigeon toed)
- Out toe walking
- Sever’s disease (heel pain)
- Osgood schlatter disease (knee pain)
- Ingrown toe nails
- Verruca’s (warts)
- Flat feet
- Shin splints
- Ankle sprains
- Growing pains
